ToggleFormer India cricketer and current BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has taken yet another shot at Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. The World Cup-winning batsman has never shied away from condemning the cross-border terrorism from Pakistan. In the last few years, one has seen Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi indulge in war of words on several occasions on Twitter.
In his latest tweet, Gautam Gambhir has taken a firm shot at Imran Khan. Gambhir took the dig over Imran Khan’s UN speech and compared it with that of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. While Mr Modi stressed on the values of peace and harmony, Imran Khan continued to rant against India and defend his country.

Gambhir mocked Imran Khan by calling him a puppet and also pointed out the latter’s constant whining about nuclear war.
“The time allotted to each country is 15 minutes. What one does with it shows character and intellect. @narendramodi Ji chose to talk about peace and development while Pakistan Army’s puppet threatened a nuclear war. He is the same man who claims to promote peace in Kashmir,” Gautam Gambhir tweeted.

Earlier on Friday, Imran Khan speaking at the UNGA (United Nations General Assembly) had held out threats of a conventional war between the two nuclear-armed neighbours spinning out of control. He also spoke about the radicalisation of Muslims in India and around the world. The former cricketer also warned India of another Pulwama type attack.

In his bizarre rant, Imran Khan continued to take shots at India. His extempore speech lasted more than the 15 minutes allotted to him. Mr Modi, on the other hand, remained calm and composed as he once again reminded the world of India’s peaceful nature.
