Graeme Smith and Adam Gilchrist involved in a banter over Warner-De Kock

In latest CCTV footage from the staircase leading to the dressing rooms at Kingsmead in Durban showed the Australian vice-captain David Warner and South Africa wicketkeeper Quinton De Kock involved in a heated exchange at the tea break on day four of the first Test.
Australian opener David Warner and South African wicket-keeper Quinton De Kock were involved in an ugly altercation on the staircase leading to the dressing rooms.
However, this incidence has got some of the former cricketers talking about it from both the countries.
Also, players who have played against each other in the past have expressed their views on the incidence.
Former Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist tweeted about the incidence and like expected took his country-men’s side as he wrote, “Ugly scenes in Durban. Can only assume something very personal has been throw at @davidwarner31 for this type of reaction. Not a good look all round. #SAvAUS”

However, this tweet did not go well with former Proteas captain Graeme Smith who said that Warner himself had done similar things in the past and De Kock’s reaction shouldn’t be a surprise.
He said, “Gilly- Warner crossed many personal boundaries with the South Africans, so we can’t be surprised when there is eventually a reaction. If players are happy to give it, they have to be prepared to take it, too. On both sides! But agreed not a good look. #SAvsAUS”
