Hanuma Vihari Reveals He Used To Cry Whenever Sachin Tendulkar Got Dismissed

India’s Test specialist Hanuma Vihari, in a recent interaction, spilt beans regarding his disappointment whenever Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar went got out. Tendulkar is widely regarded as the ‘God of Cricket’ because of his achievements during his stint at the crease. Tendulkar amassed more than 34000 runs in international cricket. He set and broke many records during his time, and he is the undisputed king of the cricket.

What sets him apart is the fact that he sustained for an immensely long period in the international circuit. Sachin had a 24-year long international career. Many players can’t even sustain its half because of the competitiveness that international cricket brings along with.

Vihari, in Cricbuzz’s web series, Spicy Pitch, stated that whenever Tendulkar was dismissed, he used to weep and unplug the television plug.

“Sachin sir was obviously my idol when I grew up. That was the reason why I started playing cricket. When I was young I used to watch him bat and I loved it. In the 90s he was like the king of batting.Whenever he used to get out, I used to cry and unplug the TV – used to do all such things,” Vihari told host Manish Batavia.

Sachin Tendulkar had the power of stopping the clock for the entire nation whenever on the cusp of bringing up his milestone. There have been reports of people going the distance for expressing their disappointments to see the back of Tendulkar.

Vihari Revealed That Sachin Is His All-Time Favourite Cricketer

India’s middle-order batsman in the most prolonged form of the game, Hanuma Vihari revealed as to who he thinks is the greatest cricketer of all time. Interestingly, Vihari left his Test captain out of the race and named Sachin Tendulkar, the greatest of all time.

With all the cricketers being in isolation due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, it has given them time to interact with their fans through social media. Hanuma Vihari also conducted a Q&A session on his Twitter account wherein he said that Sachin Tendulkar is his all-time favourite cricketer.
