Harbhajan Singh Picks First Three Players Who Will Be on His World XI Test Side

Veteran India spinner, Harbhajan Singh revealed he would have Virat Kohli, Joe Root and James Anderson as the first three names if he ever had to pick a World XI Test Team.

Harbhajan Singh mentioned the names of three modern greats from the current era who will appear on his team sheet. However, when it comes to overall, Harbhajan Singh named another three stalwarts of the game. It includes Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar, Sir Vivian Richards and Kapil Dev.

Harbhajan Singh revealed the names during an exclusive interview with the ESPN Cricinfo.

However, all the six names mentioned by Harbhajan oozes class and are legends in their rights. The current India skipper, Virat Kohli is undoubtedly the greatest batsman of the modern generation. He has been a consistent run-scorer for India across all formats of the game.

During the recent tour of England, Kohli forgot his woes from the 2014 and smashed 593 runs in the five-match series.

It included a couple of centuries and three half-centuries. With nearly 10,000 runs and 35 centuries under Virat’s belt, Kohli is all set to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record in the limited-overs format.

Vivian Richards is considered the finest batsman of his generation.
