Harbhajan Singh Posts Hilarious Message For Ambati Rayudu On His Birthday

Ambati Rayudu, on Monday (September 23), celebrated his 34th birthday. The Hyderabad star has been a constant in the news headlines in the last few months albeit for off-field reasons. Jut days ahead of this year’s World Cup, Ambati Rayudu unfortunately fell out of favour with the selectors after he tweeted his displeasure at not being selected for the tournament and said that he’d be watching the games with 3D glasses.

Things became worse for him when he was not added to the squad as an injury replacement despite being in the standbys. In fact, Rishabh Pant and even uncapped Mayank Agarwal were preferred ahead of him to replace Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar. Disappointed with the turn of event, he shockingly announced his retirement from all forms of the game.

But the right-handed batsman recently reversed that decision and is hoping to be back in the fold soon. Prior to the World Cup snub, Ambati Rayudu played 55 ODIs for India and scored three centuries along with 10 half centuries with a highest score of 124*. He also played six T20 Internationals for India. Rayudu had been part of India’s World Cup squad in 2015 but failed to get a game in Australia and New Zealand.

Ambati Rayudu’s career is nothing less than a roller-coaster. His career looked as good as over when he signed up to play the Indian Cricket League. But he later accepted the BCCI’s amnesty offer and starred in the IPL. He then finally broke into the Indian team after impressing consistently in the IPL.

And as Ambati Rayudu was celebrating his special day, wishes poured in from all corners. But Harbhajan Singh’s tweet topped all the messages. The off-spinner hilariously called Ambati Rayudu angry young man as he tweeted:
