Watch: Stunning Run-Out By Hardik Pandya To Dismiss Hashim Amla

The way Hashim Amla was batting in the ongoing second Test, India needed a moment of brilliance to get rid of the South Africa batting star and the moment was provided by none other than Hardik Pandya.

The veteran batsman was looking primed for a well-deserved century until the decision to steal a quick single saw him missing the three-digit mark by 18 runs. Amla, while batting on 182, defended a Pandya delivery with light hands. Faf du Plessis, who was standing at the non-striker’s end, called Amla for a run straight-away. Amla looked a bit hesitant early on but decided to follow his captain’s call and went for the run.

In the meantime, Pandya ran across, intercepted the running, picked up the ball, turned back and made a stunning throw at the non-striker’s end to shatter the stumps and catch Amla short.
