Hasan Jahan reveals about contacting Sourav Ganguly before making allegations public

Wife of India’s premier fast bowler Mohammed Shami, Hasin Jahan, who hogged all the limelight due to her accusations, revealed that she contacted Sourav Ganguly before making her ordeal public.

Sourav Ganguly is the head of Cricket Association of Bengal, a place where Shami played almost the entirety of his first-class career.

However, Shami’s wife, in her recent revelations, claimed that she contacted the former Indian skipper before making her accusations public.

“I called Sourav sir before I posted the issue on Facebook. I told him that I am in such kind of trouble and Shami has been treating me in a very wrong way. He is asking for a divorce. Sourav sir said that he will give me a call next week,” quoted Hasin Jahan according to ABP news.

Further, Hasin mentions that to this day, she hasn’t heard back from Ganguly. She cites out that perhaps Dada comprehended the situation as personal and refrained from it.

“Till today, I am waiting for him to call. He hasn’t contacted me since then. I think he refrained thinking that the matter was a domestic issue,” she adds.

BCCI is awaiting a report from Anti Corruption Unit Chief, Neeraj Kumar, who is currently investigating the issue. However, Shami’s wife adhered to the fact that she is not briefed about any investigation from the cricketing board. Also, Hasin quoted that she is receiving full cooperation from the Kolkata Police.

“I don’t know about any BCCI team. I was called at Lal Bazaar Chowk Police station. My father was also there with me. A team questioned me at the police station. I have no idea if any BCCI official was there with the team.” concluded Hasin Jahan.
