I Am A Fan Of MS Dhoni And His Helicopter Shot - Hazratullah Zazai

The most-happening name in the recent past has been Hazratullah Zazai, who registered a stunning record on the other night against Ireland in a T20I game. Speaking in an interview, Zazai expressed his love towards MS Dhoni and his helicopter shot. He also revealed his favourite players in the game of cricket.

Ahead of his mind-boggling century against Ireland, Zazai already made a name to himself by smashing six sixes in an over. Meanwhile, in an interview, he opened up on his liking to Chris Gayle and Hashim Amla, who got unique skills in the International game.

I love to hit sixes – Hazratullah Zazai

Speaking of his own batting, Zazai quoted that he would like to bat aggressive for his side, which has been his success formulae over the years. Further, he went on to add saying that he would love to hit sixes as much as he can during his stay at the crease. Zazai wants to continue in the same flow for the team.

“My style of batting has always been aggressive. I always loved to hit sixes from my childhood. Now also, nothing gives me more pleasure than hitting sixes in matches. I am never satisfied with just one an over, sometimes I feel I can hit every ball for six,” Zazai told CricketNext from Dehradun on Monday.

Chris Gayle and Hashim Amla are my favourites:

Further revealing his favourite players in the world cricket, Zazai told that he admire Gayle and Amla. He loves to witness huge sixes from Gayle while Amla got a special technique, which defers him from the rest. He believes that they both are brilliant in their own ways.

“My favourite players in world cricket are Chris Gayle and Hashim Amla. Gayle, of course, is such a powerful cricketer and hits the ball a long way. Amla has a unique technique and it’s so hard to dismiss him, that’s what I admire about him,” Zazai added.

I try helicopter in Tennis ball matches:

Meanwhile, Hazratullah expressed that he would love to emulate the stroke of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He also added that MS Dhoni is his favourite player from India. Speaking of helicopter stroke, Zazai added that he will try helicopter shot in Tennis ball games.

“I haven’t had much interaction with players from Indian team but I am a fan of MS Dhoni and his helicopter shot. I tried to emulate the shot in tennis ball cricket and also in games whenever I get the chance,” Zazai, who averages 75.6 after six T20I games, said.

Well, it has been a great stint so far for Hazratullah Zazai at international level. Hopefully, he would continue the same for Afghanistan in the upcoming important games for the country. He would be one of the key players to watch out in ICC World Cup 2019.
