Leaving the first innings of the first Test alone, the rest of Innings marked with the brilliance of Jasprit Bumrah. Meanwhile, the West Indies’ legend Vivian Richards is impressed a lot with the quality of Bumrah and Co.

After a stunning spell of fast bowling in the first Test match, Jasprit Bumrah has produced an even better awe-inspiring spell. The spell had everything; right from bowling at a perfect length, to the ball swinging both ways, and with some exuberant pace.

Courtesy of his awe-inspiring spell, Jasprit Bumrah has joined the elite list of Harbhajan and Irfan Pathan to become the third Indian to take a hat-trick in Test cricket. Harbhajan and Irfan had achieved this feat against Australia and Pakistan respectively.

However, another Indian pacer Mohammed Shami on Sunday surpassed the likes of Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma to become the third-fastest Indian to pick up 150 Test wickets. Shami achieved the feat by dismissing West Indies all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall with a brutal bouncer on Day 3 of the second Test match.

Meanwhile, Ishant Sharma added yet another feather to his cap on Sunday as he overtook Kapil Dev to grab the second spot on the list of Indian bowlers with the most Test wickets outside Asia in the ongoing match against West Indies at Sabina Park.

Following his heroics in Jamaica on Saturday, former West Indies great Vivian Richards paid the ultimate tribute to Bumrah and the Indian pacers on a whole. Richards stated on-air, “I didn’t imagine I would live to see Indian fast bowlers ruling the world.” 

Well, as Vivian Richards said, the Indian team has shown the world that they can produce the world-class fast bowlers as well. And also, with Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma and Shami, the Indian bowling is in good hands.
