India’s veteran batsman Wasim Jaffer has put his weight behind Rohit Sharma to lead India in the next World Cup. Wasim Jaffer took to his Twitter account and said it the right time to hand over the captaincy to Rohit Sharma in the ODI format. Rohit Sharma has led Mumbai Indians to four Indian Premier League titles (which is the most) and he has a good experience of leading the side in crunch situations.

Meanwhile, the next World Cup of 2023 will be played in India. Wasim Jaffer believes it is the right time to move the captaincy baton from Virat Kohli to Rohit Sharma. In fact, Rohit Sharma has proven that he is a tactical captain and he has also led Mumbai Indians with aplomb.
