The new decade is all about viral campaigns and latest trend. The Dolly Parton Challenge is ruling the internet and ICC isn’t far behind. The official Twitter handle of the International Cricket Council has always got certain tricks up its sleeves. The latest victim to ICC’s prank is Australian cricketer Steven Smith.

Ever since his return to the international fold, Smith has been scoring plenty of runs and played a vital part in the team set-up. While his Test record is impeccable, Smith has put up some mind-boggling numbers in limited-overs cricket as well. And has widely been associated with his teammate Marnus Labuschagne when it comes to taking the nuisance of the game to the next level.

Hence, the ICC grabbed the opportunity with both hands and put up a photo mosaic of Smith’s profile pictures across different social media handles. The social media platforms in trend are Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter. The ICC put up three pictures of Smith, however, it replaced the fourth picture with that of Labuschagne- calling it a duplicate profile.

The veteran cricketer is currently at the second spot in the ICC Test rankings while Labuschagne is in third place. The duo is often termed as long lost brothers. They have seen together on most occasions and Australia’s limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch went on record to say that the only time they are set apart is when they crash on the bed.

In the recently concluded ODI series against India, the duo put on stands of 96 and 127 in the second and third game respectively. “The way Smithy started today, and nearly got through to the end, but not quite. Marnus and Smith, the only time they’re apart is when they’re asleep.” said Finch

Both the cricketers are currently playing in the Big Bash League. And they will be seen in national colors soon. The ICC didn’t spare India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara either when it came to the Dolly Parton Challenge. The technically strong batter celebrates his birthday today and the ICC greeted him in a unique manner by putting the same picture of the athlete across the four different frames.
