ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020: Semi-Finals Schedule, When And Where To Watch; The semi-finalists of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 have been decided and the stage is set for the biggest prize in women’s cricket this year.

India, England, Australia, and South Africa are the four teams who have set their eyes on the prize for this year’s competition.

As the ladies prepare to lock horns in Australia, let’s have a look at the schedule and the viewership details of the two semi-finals.

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup: Semi-Final 1: India vs England

The first semi-final of this year’s tournament will take place between India and England. India have been the best team of the tournament this year. They have a 100 per cent winning record in the tournament so far as they have won all the four games that they have played.

They started their campaign in style by beating defending champions Australia in the first game. Then, the Women in Blue encountered Bangladesh and won the tie.

In the third game, they faced New Zealand and secured a berth in the semi-final by winning three games on the trot. India beat Sri Lanka in the fourth match to keep their winning record intact.

Talking about England, the ODI world champions began their campaign on a low as they were beaten by South African ladies in their first game. However, they returned to form from the second game and secured qualification in the semi-finals.

In the second game, the English ladies beat Thailand by 98 runs. Pakistan became their next victim as they cruised past a 42-run victory. England won their last group stage game against West Indies and secured their place in the semi-finals.

The first semi-final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground wherein, India and England will collide to grab their hands on the coveted trophy.

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup: Semi-Final 2: Australia vs South Africa

The first semi-final of this year’s tournament will take place between Australia and South Africa. Australia are the defending champions of the tournament and have won it the maximum number of times.

Australia’ start to the tournament was a jerky one as India outplayed them in the first game. However, they got back to life from the second match and have not looked back since then. In the second game, they beat Sri Lanka by five wickets.

Australia then went on to beat Bangladesh in the second game by a comprehensive margin. In their final group match, Australia beat New Zealand and followed India from their group to qualify for the semi-finals.

South Africa Women, just like India, have been a dominant force throughout the T20 World Cup. They have won three out of the four games that they played as their last group match was washed away in rain.

In their first game, they beat England by six wickets. The African ladies then cruised past Thailand in a giant manner.

In their third game, South Africa beat Pakistan and booked their ticket to the semi-final. The fourth game of the group stage was washed away but it didn’t hamper their chances of playing in the knockout.

The second semi-final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). It will be an exciting affair to watch as to who comes out on top as the game comes to a close.
