The first semifinal of the ICC World Cup 2019 between India and New Zealand had to call off due to heavy showers at the Old Trafford in Manchester. The Kiwis scored 211 runs for the loss of five wickets before the rain came pouring spoiling the day’s play. The play will resume on the next reserve day, but the weather on July 19 also looks gloomy much to the dismay of the cricket lovers.

Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were right on the money with the new ball. They bowled three maidens in the first five overs and removed Martin Guptill to put Virat Kohli & Co ahead in the game.
