On the other hand, West Indies had come up with an inspiring show against the Pakistan team. West Indies’ bowlers were right on the money as they had bowled with fire. They were able to skittle out the opposition for a paltry score of 105 runs. Oshane Thomas was the pick of the bowlers as he had scalped four wickets in his spell.

Furthermore, Andre Russell had bowled with his tail up as he had breathed down the neck of the opposition batters with his sheer pace. Russell had taken two wickets in his first spell and gave away only four runs.

Meanwhile, Australia had also ticked the right boxes in the opening match. Australia had restricted Afghanistan to a below par score and Aaron Finch had scored a blistering fifty. Moreover, David Warner had played a crucial knock however he took his time at the crease.

West Indies’s middle order can be their Achilles Heel as they don’t have a lot of experience under their belt. Hence, a lot is going to depend on Chris Gayle, who is going to hold the key. Thus, West Indies batsmen will need to pull up their socks against the potent Australian side.
