Apart from Joe Denly and David Willey, rest of the members in the provisional squad have retained their squad including James Vince, who replaced discarded Alex Hales. Speaking of the same, the skipper Eoin Morgan quoted that it was the tough decision, which he took in his entire captaincy career for England.
It is unfortunate – Eoin Morgan
Eoin Morgan believes that the decision, which they have taken was right, as the duo got the calibre to make things fall in place for the team. Liam Dawson will be very helpful for the team when the pitch conditions ask for an extra-spinner alongside Adil Rashid, who is a regular player in the playing XI.
“It was the toughest decision I’ve ever been a part of, certainly with this group. It’s unfortunate for those who missed out but it was the right call,” ESPN Cricinfo quoted Morgan, as saying.

Guys responded well in the preparation –
Speaking of the preparation for ICC World Cup 2019, Eoin Morgan quoted that the team has done brilliant enough in working their ways in the last 4 years of time. He believes that the team has got the right nerves to tackle the pressure and hopeful of delivering when it matters the most.
“For me as a captain, being more experienced, and having been through four years of being captain, our prep and planning has been excellent and the guys have responded to that by performing on a consistent basis, probably more so for last two years than first two,” he said.
Well, England has been exceptional in the run-up to the World Cup. Ever since their semi-final exit from the Champions Trophy in 2017, the Eoin Morgan-led side has won seven out of the nine ODI series they have played both home and away.
