Former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq has stated that India-Pakistan clash in the World Cup is like the final before the final of the tournament. There is always a lot of pressure before the match and the players also feel the same. In fact, it is also believed by the people of both countries that winning against their arch-rivals in the World Cup is bigger than winning the trophy.

It is always a high-octane match and the team that keeps its calm in the crunch situations will have the advantage of going all the way. India has a great record in the World Cup matches against Pakistan as they have won all the six matches against their nemesis.
It is the mother of all clashes.
Speaking to ANI, Inzamam said, “Whenever India and Pakistan take on each other in the World Cup, it’s a final before a final. People are always excited about this match. The stadium has a capacity of 24,000 but 8 lakh people applied for the tickets of this match. So it gives you an idea of how big this match is.”
Meanwhile, Inzamam-ul-Haq believes the team which will play better on the day will go on to win the contest. Thus, the former right-hander stated that the past doesn’t matter. Pakistan will like to end their voodoo against India and come out as winners.
“In India-Pakistan matches, past performances do not matter and it all depends on who is better on the match day. I hope Pakistan will come out triumphant and I hope people get to enjoy a good quality of the game of cricket. Pakistan has won just one match in the tournament so far. I hope the fortunes changes for the team,” added the former right-hander.
On the other hand, the player who performs the best in India-Pakistan match remembers the performance for a long time. Meanwhile, Inzamam-ul-Haq urged the fans to take the game as just another match.
