India made a shocking semifinal exit from the ICC World Cup 2019 losing to New Zealand by 18 runs at the Old Trafford in Manchester. Despite their unexpected ouster, pacer Jasprit Bumrah has done exceedingly well throughout the tournament. His performance has earned himself praise and fans all over the globe. Recently, an old lady imitated Bumrah’s action, which has left him impressed.

An older woman imitates Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah has lived upto his expectations and has done an exceptional job with the ball whenever his captain has called him to bowl. With his unusual action and variations, Bumrah has been a lethal weapon for India in this World Cup. The top-ranked ODI bowler returned with 18 wickets from nine matches at an economy rate of 4.41 – the best among fast bowlers who have played more than five games. Bumrah will hope to keep up the excellent job in the future and lead India’s bowling.

Recently, a fan shared a video in which her mother has almost perfected Bumrah’s unique action, and the Indian pace spearhead appreciated the effort. In the video, an older woman can be seen imitating Bumrah’s hop, skip and jump bowling action.

“Just like the rest of us, the mothership was so impressed with Bumrah’s performance in the world cup, that she decided to mimic his run-up,” the fan tweeted.

Jasprit Bumrah took time out of the busy schedule to watch the video. The young fast bowler replied to the tweet saying that it made his day and

“This made my day,” Bumrah replied.
