“As a kid or as a young cricketer growing up this is what you dream to do I’m really happy that I got the opportunity and I give myself six out of ten! Hopefully I carry on the confidence and get better.”

All in all, it was a good show from KL Rahul during the game against Pakistan. Opening the batting in 50 overs after a fine time and facing the likes of Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz is never an easy task to accomplish.

With Shikhar Dhawan staying away from the playing XI, KL Rahul would open the innings for India in the next game as well. Most probably, Shikhar Dhawan would return for the clash against England on June 30th.
