England eye a top four spot

England will again be without Jason Roy as he continues to recover from the hamstring tear he suffered against West Indies. However, his absence won’t deter them much as they have the depth in the batting order. Skipper Eoin Morgan played a classical knock in the last game which will keep the bowlers on their feet. The bowling has also come good in the right time as they will hope for another win which will take England one step closer to the semifinals.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka will face an uphill battle but have enough games left to try and make something out of this campaign. Skipper Dimuth Karunaratne has excelled with the bat so far and will have to inspire his teammates to produce the best effort against the top-ranked ODI side. Moreover, the senior cricketers are yet to stand up, and the management will hope them to deliver at this juncture. It will take a monumental effort from the players to overcome the England challenge, and Sri Lanka will have to win the game to keep their hopes alive in the World Cup.
