Sri Lanka made a resounding comeback in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 beating the hot favourites England. They will look to keep the winning streak going when they take on South Africa who are already out of the tournament on June 28 (Friday) at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street.
Sri Lanka desperate for two crucial points
The race to the semifinals have got exciting, and a win for Sri Lanka over South Africa will make it more spicy for the fans. Dhananjaya de Silva is not in the best of form which sums of Sri Lanka’s performance in recent times. He will have to do the scoring and contribute to the team’s success to leave a mark at the biggest cricketing extravaganza.
Thisara Perera has not been among the best of form in the ongoing ICC World Cup. Being a senior cricketer, Perera needs to contribute with both bat and ball as Sri Lanka aim for a top-four finish.
