On the other hand, Afghanistan are at the ninth spot. The Caribbean outfit has collected three points from their eight games. West Indies had started the World Cup on a high with a thumping win over Pakistan but could not really capitalise on that win. As far as Afghanistan are concerned, they have not really managed to deliver in the pressure situations.

Only pride will be at stake when these two teams take on each other. Afghanistan will be desperate to open their account in the tournament while West Indies will be hoping to give their star man Chris Gayle a perfect goodbye in his last-ever World Cup.
