Sri Lanka will aim to prove their mettle when they go up against India in their ICC World Cup 2019 game on July 6 (Saturday) at Headingley in Leeds.

The Islanders have mainly struggled due to their weak links in the batting. However, they have improved a lot since their opening game against New Zealand where they were all out for 135. But the openers need to put up an improved show against a decent bowling attack of India who will be looking to exploit that area at Leeds. The bowlers under the leadership of Lasith Malinga have done an excellent job and will look to step up for one final time in the World Cup.
