Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has stated that India’s talisman wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni is faster than a computer. Akhtar said Dhoni can tell faster than a computer on how the pitch would play. Dhoni is a great reader of the pitch and the same was palpable when he led India with aplomb over the years.

Dhoni is always two steps ahead of the opposition and he is one of the shrewdest minds to have embraced the game. On the other hand, MS Dhoni has always been one of the fastest hands behind the stumps as he can affect the stumping in a blink of an eye.

Dhoni has got the fastest hands.

Furthermore, Dhoni is a clean striker of the ball and is quick with hands in front of the wickets as well. Hence, Dhoni has ticked the right boxes in every department.

“Dhoni is faster than a computer. Whatever a computer can say about playing on a certain wicket, I believe that MS Dhoni can do it faster,” said the former Pakistan pacer in a video uploaded on his Twitter handle.

On the other hand, Shoaib Akhtar went on to praise KL Rahul. The right-hander has impressed with his fine technique and has come back into form at the right time to cement his place in the playing XI.

“I really like KL Rahul as a cricketer. I think KL Rahul can follow the footsteps of Virat Kohli and he can become a brilliant batsman in the future. When we met, I said that whenever you are not playing, release your anger in training. Do not lose focus and I believe you will become a big player in the future,” said Akhtar.

India began their World Cup campaign on a high as they defeated South Africa convincingly by six wickets. Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal were the top performers for the side. India will play their second World Cup match against Australia at Kennington Oval, London on 9th June.
