ICC World Cup 2019: Ravindra Jadeja Will Bring The Cup To Jamnagar, Says His Wife Rivaba Solanki

India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has finally started to make his presence felt in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019. He was economical against Sri Lanka and did a terrific job against New Zealand in the ongoing semifinal in the ICC World Cup 2019. Rivaba Solanki, the wife of the veteran all-rounder, is hopeful that his husband will bring the World Cup trophy to Jamnagar.

Jadeja warmed the benches in England for most of the league stages. Ravindra Jadeja finally made it to the playing XI for India’s final league stage match against Sri Lanka. Jadeja made an immediate impact as he picked up a wicket and conceded just 40 runs. He made it into the playing of the semifinal against New Zealand as was outstanding with the ball. He returned with figures of one for 34 in his full quota to keep thing tight from one end.

Ravindra Jadeja bowled a beauty to get the better of Henry Nicholls to provide India with the second breakthrough. He started the 19th over with a quickish delivery which hurried onto the batsman. Jadeja played with the batsman’s mind and bowled a slower delivery while Nicholls anticipated another quick delivery. The ball bisected his bat and pad to castle the timber to give the Saurashtra all-rounder his second wicket of the World Cup.

Rivaba Solanki is hopeful to see his favourite man bring the World Cup trophy to his native place in Jamnagar. She desires that Ravindra  Jadeja would add more glory to the city in Gujarat by winning the biggest prize in world cricket.

 

“My wish is to see Ravindra lifting the World Cup Trophy and bring it to Jamnagar. Ranjitsinhji and Duleepsinhji were also from Jamnagar, hope he will bring the Cup to Jamnagar,” Rivaba said to ANI.
