South Africa will like to get off the mark in the ICC World Cup 2019 in their second match against Bangladesh at Kennington Oval. The Proteas had lost their opening match against England and they would like to turn the tables against the Tigers. On the other hand, Bangladesh will like to begin their World Cup campaign on a high. We take a look at South Africa’s Predicted Playing XI for the fifth match of the ICC World Cup 2019.

On the other hand, Bangladesh has a lot of injury woes and it would be interesting to note their playing combination. Tamim Iqbal is a doubtful starter as he had suffered a blow to his left-hand wrist on Friday. Similarly, Hashim Amla might not play for South Africa as he didn’t attend the practice session on the eve of the match.

Aiden Markram

The stylish batsman might get the opportunity to open the innings as Hashim Amla is a doubtful starter for the match. Markram will like to bring his best to the table.

Faf du Plessis will like to lead from the front. The Proteas skipper was right on the money with his bowling changes against England. However, du Plessis will need to come up with runs in the absence of Hashim Amla.

Rassie Van der Dussen

The right-hander had played a good knock as he had scored 50 runs against England. Thus, he would like to continue his good form. The right-hander had shown a good technique.

David Miller

David Miller can replace Hashim Amla in the playing XI. Miller can provide the X-factor with his blistering batting and he can add finishing touches to the Proteas line-up.

JP Duminy

The southpaw batsman has all the experience under his belt. Duminy could only score eight runs in the first match against England and he would like to come up with a better performance.

The all-rounder had scalped one wicket in the first match against England. The southpaw batsman scored 24 runs with the bat.

Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada had scalped two wickets against England. However, the talisman fast bowler was on the expensive side as he had conceded 66 runs in the 10 overs.
