ICC World Cup 2019: Stuart Broad Predicts the Leading Run-Scorer

The 12th edition of the World Cup is less than a month away and the former, as well as current players, have started their prediction. England’s veteran pacer Stuart Broad has also thrown his hat into the ring for the prediction game. The England Test skipper has thus far scored 5097 runs at a sublime average of 50.47 and strike rate of 86.73 in 126 One Day Internationals he has played.

Meanwhile, Joe Root is perched at the sixth position in the ICC ODI rankings with 782 rating points under his belt. On the other hand, England is at the numero uno position in the rankings ladder. Thus, England is one of the biggest contenders for the upcoming mega event. England will begin their World Cup campaign against South Africa on 30th May at Kennington Oval.

Prior to the World Cup, England will play one T20I and five One Day Internationals against Pakistan. The first ODI will take place on 8th May.
