I’m Not Okay, I’m Hurting, Says Yuvraj Singh After Kevin Pietersen Taunts Him On Twitter

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen and former India batsman Yuvraj Singh were once again involved in a banter on Twitter. The cricket have come a long way from their public spat during the Test series in 2008 and have now developed a cordial relationship.

During the tour of India in 2008, the-then England captain Kevin Pietersen had  kicked up a storm when he called Yuvraj Singh a pie chucker after getting out to the latter. The England legend went on to say that Yuvraj Singh had bowled ‘left-arm filth’.

But they have left that episode behind and are now good friends. Time and again, one has seen Kevin Pietersen and Yuvraj Singh pulling each other’s legs on Twitter. Well, Kevin Pietersen did the same on Saturday when he could not help but take a hilarious dig at the India legend after Chelsea beat Manchester United in the FA Cup semifinal on Saturday.

Kevin Pietersen is a Chelsea fan and Yuvraj Singh’s love for Manchester United is not a secret either. Goals from Olivier Giroud, Mason Mount and an own goal from Harry Maguire saw Chelsea beat Manchester United by 3-1 to storm into the FA Cup final. The loss ended United’s 19-match unbeaten streak.

And as soon as the match ended, Kevin Pietersen took to Twitter to pull Yuvraj Singh’s legs. The London-based cricketer wrote:

“Hi, @YUVSTRONG12 – you ok mate?!”

Yuvraj Singh, however, was in no mood to reply in kind as he made his feelings clear, writing:

“Haha no mate I’m not I’m hurting”

But Kevin Pietersen was in no mood to spare Yuvraj Singh as he taunted him again, writing:

“Just checking. Lots of talk a few weeks ago. Just checking you still wanted to chat?! Hope you recover well! You can come watch Champions League as my guest anytime.”

Yuvraj Singh then made it clear that his beloved club never gives up, tweeting:

“Hmmm let’s see we never give up @ManUtd”
