The India National Cricket Team won the first ODI in Hyderabad by six wickets – taking a one-nil lead in the five-match ODIs against Australia. Meanwhile, Nagpur will host the second One-Dayer on March 5th (Tuesday). The venue, however, brings back some old memories – as in 2013, a high-octane clash saw India winning the match by six wickets. The hosts chased 350 runs with Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli hitting respective centuries. However, come Tuesday, both the players would want to repeat their heroics and grant India a consecutive win the ODI series. Here, Cricket Addictor will bring you the match preview, predicted XI’s, head-to-head records, pitch and the weather report.

Match prediction –

As India had won the first ODI by six wickets though not convincingly, they would still begin the match as outright favourites. In the first game, neither of the top three scored a significant total in the game – which doesn’t often happen when India is playing at home. Besides, the fast bowlers looked in great touch, especially Mohammed Shami, who took two wickets for 44 runs in the first ODI. Putting all such things into consideration, India is likely to win the second ODI as well in Nagpur.
