India had doubled their lead in the ongoing five-match series against Australia. The hosts had won the close contest by eight runs after Vijay Shankar held his nerves and scalped two wickets. Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored a fine knock of 116 to help his team get to a respectable score of 250. In fact, Shankar also looked good with the bat as he scored a fluent knock of 46 runs.
