India vs Australia 2019: Aakash Chopra Predicts Four Changes Ahead of the Fourth ODI

Former Indian National Cricket team opener Aakash Chopra has predicted four changes ahead of the fourth ODI against Australia at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali on March 10 (Sunday).

Meanwhile, the visiting team pulled one back at Ranchi beating the men in blues by 32 runs. Batting first, the Aussies banked on a 193-run opening partnership to set the tone for the batters to come. While Finch missed his century by seven runs, Khawaja brought his first ODI hundred. Glenn Maxwell also played a little cameo of 47 but once he got out the runs dried up. Stoinis remained unbeaten on 31 runs to post 313 runs on the board.

While chasing, Indian National Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli brought his 41st century leading the charge in pursuit of a massive target. But once Adam Zampa got him out the chances almost faded out for the home side. Although Vijay Shankar and Ravindra Jadeja tried their best but couldn’t stop their team from going down by 32 runs. Soon after the third game, India’s batting coach Sanjay Bangar revealed the former skipper MS Dhoni will not be a part of the last two games. As a result, it will make way for young Rishabh Pant who will have his last lifeline to impress the selectors.

Chopra calls for four changes

Alongside this change, former Test opener Aakash Chopra has predicted three more alterations in the playing XI. The cricketer turned commentator urged the management to drop Shikhar Dhawan – who has been in awful form in favour of KL Rahul. Dhawan has struggled for form consistently which has raised speculations about his place in the team. And moreover, with KL Rahul waiting in the wings, the management will be keen to bring him in the picture ahead of the showpiece event.

Also, Aakash Chopra has called for two more changes in Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar while Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami will make their way. While Jadeja has struggled to pick wickets, Shami has done consistently well. However, this change is likely to provide Kumar with some game time ahead of the pinnacle event in England and Wales.
