Over the years, the venue in Hyderabad has been a good one for Australia. They got a decent record in the venue and it is also one of the venues for the ODI series, which will be played after the T20I series. Meanwhile, they landed in the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium to have a practice ahead of the first T20I at Visakhapatnam.

Australia will stay in Hyderabad for three days and will get their practice done in between 4 PM to 7 PM. The team will play practice games by dividing into two teams in order to acclimatise to the conditions.

”They will practise from 4 to 7 pm on both days. They did not want to practise in the areas generally reserved for teams but on the pitches of the main ground. The idea is to adapt to Indian conditions as soon as possible,” sources said.

”These practice sessions will be under lights, to get ready for the matches which are day-night affairs. “They will most probably play practice matches among themselves to be match-ready. That is the plan for both days,” sources added as per the lines on The Indian Express.

We are looking to get the best wicket for first ODI –

Actually, the visiting teams will get their practice done in the venues, which will be hosting the game. However, with only three days left for the first game, the ACA-VDCA Stadium cannot give their wickets for the practice, as it may spoil the surface ahead of the game.

On the other hand, the Hyderabad curators got a lot of time to prepare the wicket for the First ODI. Apart from that, the travelling between Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam is way too less compared to the other venues near to the ACA-VDCA Stadium.

“Since the match is supposed to begin very soon, the main pitch at ACA-VDCA Stadium cannot be provided for practice, as it could get damaged. Well, Australians will stay for a healthy period of time in India. They will be playing Indian National Cricket Team in three T20I games followed by 5 One Dat Matches. Later, few of them will take part in Indian Premier League 2019.
