Ahead of the must-win clash at Ranchi, the Australian Cricket Team suffered a major setback as Nathan Coulter-Nile makes his way back home. He has been there star performer so far in the series in T20I and ODI formats of the game. The fast bowler flies back home for the birth of his second child.

Actually, Coulter-Nile was set to leave after today’s match but departed Ranchi last night after a message from home called for his immediate return. Hopefully, everything would fall in place back home for the family of Nathan Coulter-Nile.

The right-arm fast bowler has played in all four matches on the Qantas Tour of India to date and was player of the match for his 3-26 in the thrilling final-ball win in the opening T20 in Vizag.

Jhye Richardson replaces Nathan Coulter-Nile:

In between, Australia called Jhye Richardson back into the playing XI for the third ODI of the series against India at Ranchi. It was the only change for an Australian side that played in a couple of ODI games so far.

The lanky fast bowlers will be back with the Australian team in the UAE after he was named in the unchanged squad to take on Pakistan in five ODIs from March 22.

For the first time, Aaron Finch lost the toss in the series. They have been asked to bat first by the Indian skipper, as they were not sure about the target on the board. In between, Aaron Finch wants to post a good total on the board to give his bowlers a chance.

”I would have bowled first too maybe though I am not sure. Don’t know how the wicket will behave really. Need to get stuck in batting first and post a good total. We have one change – Coulter-Nile has gone home for the birth of his second child. Jhye Richardson comes in.Unfortunate to lose close games, always special to get across the line in such games. At the same time, we’ve enjoyed playing in these tough conditions

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for Australia. They can’t afford to make any wrong step, as the loss would see them losing the series.

I just love what I script. Over the years, Cricket has been my passion and crisping articles on it gives me an immense pleasure...Cheers...!!!
