Whenever India needs a breakthrough in the middle overs, the one hand that rises to the occasion is Kuldeep Yadav. The flamboyant cricketer once again did it for Indian National Cricket Team by giving a much-needed breakthrough in the 1st ODI game at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. He sent back dangerous Peter Handscomb back to the pavilion.

It was in the 30th over of the game when Kuldeep Yadav bowled a peach of the deliveries to Handscomb. After bowling a couple of dots, Kuldeep Yadav gave a hint of air to the ball by bowling at a good length. Meanwhile, Handscomb, who is under pressure danced down the wicket to meet the ball, but, unfortunately, it wasn’t the case.

The ball turned a mile to sneak in between Handscomb bat and pad to land in the hands of the Mahendra Singh Dhoni. As ever, the stalwart wicketkeeper removed bails in a flash to see Kuldeep Yadav thumping his fist in the air. All in all, it was a decent display of skills by Kuldeep Yadav in the middle.

As it happened:

Earlier in the game, Australia won the toss for their third time in the tour and pushed themselves to bat first. But, it turned out to be a poor decision when Aaron Finch registered yet another duck to his name. However, Marcus Stoinis, Usman Khawaja balanced the ship with their fine knocks.

Just when things looked settled for Australia then came the golden bowler for India Kedar Jadhav to send well-set Marcus Stoinis back to the hut. Then it was the brilliant catch from Vijay Shankar, which saw the end of Usman Khawaja.

However, the man of the series in T20I format, Glenn Maxwell is continuing his great form for the team. He looked positive right from the start when he came to bat at number 5 for the team. He dealt Indian bowlers to perfection by finding the fence more often than not. However, he couldn’t get a proper partner at the other end.
