The left-handed batsman played his first One-day international since the 2019 World Cup and picked up from where he left. Shikhar Dhawan failed to get going initially in the first match in Mumbai; however, found his stride in that game and the subsequent one by scoring 74 and 98 respectively. The southpaw couldn’t bat in the series decider, owing to a shoulder injury. Dhawan receives a rating of 8/10.
