India’s long tour of England will get underway on Tuesday (July 3) with the first T20 International. The Men in Blue have warmed up for the series in style with two convincing wins over Ireland. In both the games, the batsmen and the bowlers looked in fine form. The batsmen piled up 200-plus totals while the bowlers made easy task of Ireland’s batting.

India, however, will have to be at their clinical best to beat England who have looked almost unstoppable in white-ball cricket in recent times. With both the teams in stunning form, the series is going to be exciting.

And before the series gets underway, we take a look at some interesting numbers and stats:

1. India are yet to win a T20 against England in England. The hosts have come out on top on all the three occasions. Overall, England have won 6 of the 11 games the two teams have played against each other.

2. With 284 runs, Eoin Morgan has scored most runs in India-England T20Is. He is followed by Suresh Raina (265) and MS Dhoni (264).

3. Harbhajan Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal have taken 8 wickets in this fixture, the most by any bowler.
