The Kiwis, then took no time in chasing down the target; though they lost two wickets in the meantime.

India dominates NZ in away series

After clinching Australia across two formats (ODIs and Tests), India didn’t stop there; as they defeated New Zealand 4-1 in the ODIs. They had achieved the feat after a decade when MS Dhoni-led India first beat the BlackCaps on their home soil. Meanwhile, the regular skipper, Virat Kohli was on rest for the last two ODIs and the T20I series to follow.

In his absence, Rohit Sharma led the team from the front and won two matches of the four games played thus far. Both the teams will now clash in the final T20I at the Seddon Park, Hamilton.
