India vs New Zealand 2019: 5th ODI, Westpac Stadium, Wellington – Match Prediction; It was a poor game for Indians on the other day at Hamilton. They have been completely outsmarted by the Kiwis in swinging conditions. Trent Boult and Colin de Grandhomme were the stars for the hosts, who ran a riot in the 4th ODI. Now, it is the time for the final ODI of the series, which is to be played at Wellington.

Although India clinched their first series in New Zealand in over a decade, the visitors would be disappointed to lose the way they did in the fourth ODI at Hamilton. Bundled out for just 92, India’s mighty batting attack displayed lack of focus as Trent Boult ran riot.

MS Dhoni might be back in the XI:

New Zealand, on the other hand, was efficient and proved a point after what has been a dismal series for the Black Caps. While the match at Wellington may not be of any relevance, both teams will feel the need to prove a point in the final ODI and pick up momentum before the World Cup later in May.

MS Dhoni is expected to come back in the playing XI at expense of Dinesh Karthik. The Indian team management would want to give Dhoni ample match practice prior to the World Cup. India has played three matches at the Westpac stadium and has only emerged victorious on one occasion.

For hosts, it is the batting that has been the concern for them and that question still persists because they chased a smaller total last time out. Till now, New Zealand has played 29 ODIs at Westpac Stadium and won 16 out of those.

They might go with the same squad for the final ODI game as well. It seems like the inclusion of Todd Astle and Jimmy Neesham has made the team look more strong on the paper.

Match Prediction:

It would be a tricky game once again. India might test their bench strength once again while Kiwis would be determined to make the series scoreline look better. However, India got the finest players in their ranks to end the series on a high note.
