Indian National Cricket team is currently on a winning spree as they beat New Zealand 4-1 in the five match one-day international series beating the host by 35 runs in the final encounter. Meanwhile, it has been a trend that star performers from the game appear on the famous Chahal Tv hosted by the leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal. However, after India’s series win earlier today, Chahal wanted MS Dhoni to appear on his TV but Dhoni was seen shying away from it.

Meanwhile, chasing 252 runs, the hosts got off to the worst possible start. Mohammed Shami provided the first breakthrough dismissing Henry Nicholls in the fourth over. The pacer from Bengal struck back again removing Colin Munro before Hardik Pandya bagged the priceless wicket of Ross Taylor. Since then, skipper Kane Williamson partnered Tom Latham to add 67 runs to bail New Zealand out. But the bowlers picked wickets at regular intervals to keep the men in blues in the game. Yuzvendra Chahal picked three while Shami and Hardik Pandya picked two each to finish the game in their favour.

Pandya’s late cameo

Previously, fireworks from Pandya as he hammered three successive sixes off Todd Astle in the 47th over before clearing the fence off Trent Boult and Jimmy Neesham. Pandya eventually got out for 45 off 22 deliveries helping India get momentum on their side. Trent Boult got his third victim in Bhuvneshwar Kumar while Mohammed Shami got run out as India finish with a total of 252.
This is the first since 2009, India have won a series in New Zealand. Meanwhile, soon after the presentation ceremony, Yuzvendra Chahal wanted MS Dhoni to appear on his show. However, Dhoni seemed to shy away from it running away from Chahal. The show is getting popular day by day which recently saw India’s stand-in-skipper donning the hat of a videographer.
