India vs New Zealand 2019: Watch - Shikhar Dhawan Dances to the Tunes of Bharat Army

Indian National Cricket team opener, Shikhar Dhawan showed some of his bhangra moves on the ground following their 4-1 series win against New Zealand at Wellington. Meanwhile, the men in blues sealed the series winning the first three games; however, lost the fourth one before settling the five-match series 4-1.

Meanwhile, chasing 252 runs, the hosts got off to the worst possible start. Mohammed Shami provided the first breakthrough dismissing Henry Nicholls in the fourth over. The pacer from Bengal struck back again removing Colin Munro before Hardik Pandya bagged the priceless wicket of Ross Taylor. Since then, skipper Kane Williamson partnered Tom Latham to add 67 runs to bail New Zealand out. But the bowlers picked wickets at regular intervals to keep the men in blues in the game. Yuzvendra Chahal picked three while Shami and Hardik Pandya picked two each to finish the game in their favour.

Previously, fireworks from Pandya as he hammered three successive sixes off Todd Astle in the 47th over before clearing the fence off Trent Boult and Jimmy Neesham. Pandya is eventually got out for 45 off 22 deliveries as he helped India get momentum on their side. Bhuvneshwar Kumar fell in the final over, giving Boult his third wicket while Mohammed Shami got run out as India finish with a total of 252.

Dhawan shows some moves

The Indian National Cricket were ecstatic with their first series win on New Zealand soil after 10 years. They celebrated this historic milestone having fun with each other. In addition to, Shikhar Dhawan showed some of his classical Punjabi dance moves to entertain the Indian fans present at the stadium. He finished off with his trademark kabbadi style celebration move.

The men in blues will now shift their focus to the three-match T20I series starting from February 6 (Wednesday) at the Wellington. Rohit Sharma will look to finish their over assignment on a high as they gear up for the ICC World Cup.
