High-flying India will be looking to continue their winning run when they take New Zealand in the fourth T20I. The Men in Blue sealed the series on Wednesday when they won the third game in thrilling style. Rohit Sharma starred with the bat in the super over to power India to their first-ever series win in New Zealand.

With the series in the bag now, the visitors could give chance to Washington Sundar and Navdeep Saini in the upcoming games. But with the T20 World Cup not very far away, it would not be very surprising if the team-management persists with the winning combination.

New Zealand, on the other hand, will feel hard done by with the way things panned out in the third game. Chasing 180, they looked set to register an easy win when they needed just 3 runs from the last five balls. But somehow they managed to make a mess of it before losing the game in the super over.

The Black Caps are quite low on confidence at the moment and will need to be at their best to get the better of the in-form visitors. The hosts are well capable of beating any team on its day and the players will be desperate to get back to winning ways. They, however, will be without their captain Kane Williamson who is out of the game with a shoulder injury.

Toss report:

New Zealand won the toss and decided to field first against India in Wellington.

Here is what the captains said:

Tim Southee:

“We are gonna bowl first. Looks like a good wicket. Kane’s got a niggle on his shoulder. He should be fine in a couple of days. We need to keep improving. Tom Bruce comes in for Colin de Grandhomme and Mitchell comes in for Kane.”

Virat Kohli:

“We would have bowled first as well. We haven’t had a game like that in a while. For us as a side, it was a massive confidence booster. We have rested Rohit, Shami and Jadeja. Samson to open, Washington and Saini are in. Three exciting additions to the side.”

Playing elevens:

New Zealand:

Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Tom Bruce, Ross Taylor, Tim Seifert(w), Mitchell Santner, Scott Kuggeleijn, Tim Southee(c), Ish Sodhi, Hamish Bennett, Daryl Mitchell

India:

Sanju Samson, Lokesh Rahul(w), Virat Kohli(c), Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Navdeep Saini
