However, a Pakistan fan has become a popular face on the social media after a video of him singing the Indian national anthem. It had happened during the arch-rivals group stage match in the Asia Cup 2018. Moreover, he won the hearts of many Indian with his gesture.

Moreover, it was seen in the video that the Pakistan fan draped his nation’s flag around the neck. He was singing the Indian national anthem word by word. On Saturday, the name of the fan was revealed and Adil Taj opened up on why he sang India’s national anthem in the stadium.

Furthermore, Adil Taj said that it was a “small gesture towards peace.”

He also revealed that he would like to carry both the India and Pakistan flags for the Super Four clash. However, the match between the arch-rivals will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 23 (Sunday).

“I am very excited ahead of the match. I am planning to stitch India-Pakistan flag together and wear it for tomorrow’s match. That would be another positive message from my side,” Taj told ANI.

Moreover, the opinion of Indians had changed about Pakistan after watching the video. Taj, however, feels happy that he could create a huge impact by making this video.

“Indians are telling me that their opinion about Pakistanis has changed after watching his video. I feel happy that it has made a positive impact,” he added.

India defeated Pakistan in their previous meeting at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. India will try to back themselves to make it two in two. Pakistan, meanwhile, survived in their Super Four encounter against Afghanistan. In the end, the all-rounder Shoaib Malik did the recovery with three balls to spare and three wickets in hand.
