Using the opportunity, Rohit Sharma smashed a stunning century to prove his mettle at the top of the order. During the course, Mayank Agarwal was rock solid at the other end, who converted his maiden century into a double hundred. By doing so, he became the fourth Indian cricketer to convert his maiden century into a double century.
Rohit Sharma yet again scores a century:
Following the show from Indian batsmen on Day 2, it was the show from Dean Elgar and Quinton de Kock that highlighted the day 3 of the Test match. However, at the end of the day, Indians are slightly ahead of the visitors in the game. For India, Ravichandran Ashwin was the top performer.
Yet again on Day 4, the flamboyant batsman Rohit Sharma smashed yet another century at the opening slot before Cheteshwar Pujara and Jadeja having fun in the middle with their quick runs.
After starting the day with 117 runs trailing, the Indian bowlers removed the remaining couple of wickets in a flash to hand the advantage to the home side. Later, the wicket of Mayank Agarwal saw the game is firmly in the balance. However, Rohit Sharma has got other ideas in the mind.

At the end of the stumps on Day 4, Aiden Markram and Bruyn are at the crease with 3 and 5 respectively. Ravindra Jadeja picked one wicket while Ravichandran Ashwin was very economical. On Day 5, it was Mohammad Shami, who made things fall in place for India.
He knocked down South Africa’s top-order before rattling the lower order. Ravindra Jadeja also bagged 4 wickets. In the end, India won by 203 runs. The new opener of India Rohit Sharma collected man of the match for his stellar show.
