After a convincing win in Mohali, India will hope to keep their winning run going and script a whitewash when they face South Africa in the third T20I in Bengaluru on September 22(Sunday). Who will bat first at the Chinnaswamy?

Despite a thorough effort in the second game, India’s chief concern will be Rishabh Pant. He will be under tremendous pressure after skipper Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri urged the 21-year-old to show a bit more maturity.

The team management will be happy with how Shreyas Iyer has made use of the opportunities. He has looked solid in the middle-order since the ODI series against West Indies and has pipped Manish Pandey to make it to the playing XI.

South Africa, on the other hand, will have their task cut out ahead of the third and the final T20I. They need to come out as a team with the bowling unit stepping up and doing their job more efficiently. They have enough firepower in their ranks with the presence of Kagiso Rabada, who will hope to lead the attack from the front.

Newly-appointed skipper Quinton de Kock will hope to lead the team from the front once again and set the tone in the batting order. The likes of David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen need to show more intensity in the middler-order as South Africa will hope to produce a better batting performance. The Proteas will be keen to end the series in a draw.
