The final Test of the ongoing series between India and South Africa at Ranchi set to witness a lot of young children making their visit to the stadiums. The Jharkhand Cricket Board has given free tickets to the children, who come in uniform. And also, they are offering tickets for no cost to the CRPF Jawans, NCC Cadets and Army men.

The Jharkhand State Cricket Association has decided to distribute tickets to the third India versus South Africa Test among the men in uniform free of cost. They want to do that as a tribute to the men in uniform.

Members have been requested to come with their JSCA Photo Identity Card/ID Proof and collect the same on scheduled date and time. Members can also purchase tickets of this match from MS Dhoni Pavilion (South Gate) at JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi on 16th October from 9 am to 5 pm.

 “We have set aside around five thousand tickets to the match for our CRPF jawans, Armymen and NCC cadets,” JSCA secretary Sanjay Sahay told TOI. It is our tribute to the men in uniform,” he added. “We have also distributed tickets among schoolchildren in different districts.”.

The ticket sale also started on Tuesday morning at 9 am. Fans in large number flocked the four ticket counters set up at West Gate of the JSCA Stadium. The ticket price ranges from Rs 250 to Rs 2000 per day.

It is learnt that South Africa and Indian players have already headed to their respective hotel rooms. However, surprisingly, India’s team hotel is nearer to the stadium while Faf du Plessis-led side’s hotel is 13 kilometres away from the stadium. Despite that, the visitors haven’t complained regarding the issue.

Coming to the match, the hosts are looking to complete a whitewash of the tourists, after emphatic victories in the first two clashes. Virat Kohli’s men took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series with an innings victory in Pune to continue The Proteas’ misery.
