India vs West Indies 2019: 1st T20I - Weather Forecast

Team India will look to continue their dominance when they go up against the reigning ICC T20 World Champions West Indies on December 6 (Friday) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The Caribbeans with a change in leadership and Kieron Pollard at the helm of things will look to pose a stern challenge against a formidable opponent.

Virat Kohli & Co have an abundance of talents, and the return to Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will increase the competition for a place in the playing XI. With spots up for grabs for the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia which is only less than a year away, there will be severe competition within the team to claim a berth. Even if West Indies manage to deal with the pacers, they have to deal with quality spinners in Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav, who has made a return to the squad.

Coming off a 2-1 loss to Afghanistan recently, West Indies need to pull up their socks as they prepare to defend the ICC T20 World Cup trophy. The Caribbeans will have to play their best quality of cricket if they are to get off to a winning start against India, an opponent against whom they have lost each of their last six T20Is. This includes three matches hosted by them only four months ago.

As per reports, hazy sunshine is likely to remain throughout the day, while the forecast after 6 pm is predicted to carry hazy moonlight. The fans will hope for a full 40 overs of actions at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
