Meanwhile, India has already named their 12-man squad for the first One-Dayer. Rishabh Pant, who has impressed with his skills in Test cricket is all set to make his debut at Guwahati. Thus, Pant will aim to take the first right steps in the 50-overs format.

On the other hand, Windies were disappointing with their performances in the red ball version. Therefore, the visitors will like to turn the tables in the white ball version.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli made clear in the pre-match press conference that they are looking at Ambati Rayudu to put an end to the number four position debate, once and for all. The right-hander had scored two fifties in the Asia Cup and it would be a good chance for him to grab his chance.

India will also give an opportunity to Khaleel Ahmed who had done well in the Asia Cup. Consequently, India will like to test their bench strength in the forthcoming series.

Here is the Weather report:

The temperature at Guwahati is going to be 29-degree Celsius. The Sun is going to be out and the humidity level is going to be 70%. Therefore, there are no chances of rain playing a killjoy. Consequently, we can expect an uninterrupted match to be played between India and Windies.
