Windies ended the day two scoring 94 runs for the loss of six wickets against India in the first Test of the ongoing two-match Test series at Rajkot. The Indian side played some brilliant cricket, and a lot had happened on day two to fall into the talking points of the day.

However, earlier in the day, India started their innings with 364 runs on the board. Skipper, Virat Kohli along with wicket-keeper, Rishabh Pant played some excellent cricket in the morning session. The duo partnered 133 runs for the fifth wicket.

Meanwhile, Pant started scoring runs and was looking furious to make it to his second hundred, however, he missed it. Windies leg-spinner Bishoo took the wicket and showed him the way towards the pavilion. Later, Virat Kohli after completing his 24th Test century couldn’t make it bigger and got out scoring 139 runs – the highest scorer for India in this game.

Windies bowler Bishoo did some fantastic job to bag four wickets. In addition to that, Ravindra Jadeja also scored his maiden Test century, courtesy to some handy lower-order partnerships from Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami.

Furthermore, Windies started poorly in the first essay with the bat. They lost their early three wickets within the ten overs, and the Indian bowlers did splendidly to rattle the top and middle order batting line up in quick time.

As of now, the Windies are trailing by 555 runs in the first innings with Roston Chase and Keemo Paul playing at 27* and 13*, respectively.
