Here comes yet another news from police department related to cricket. Earlier, Gujarat police mocked Jasprit Bumrah for his no-ball in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, and later, Jasprit Bumrah gave it back in style. However, this time, it wasn’t the case, as Mumbai Police has uniquely praised Virat Kohli efforts on the field.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, on the other day, has been fantabulous in his approach towards the game. He knocked a brilliant 157* to shatter many records on his way. Of all, the biggest has been the 10,000 runs milestone.

However, the Indian skipper has become the quickest to reach 10,000-ODI runs barrier in international cricket. He overtook his cricketing idol, Sachin Tendulkar by a fair margin. Meanwhile, he also made it tough for the youngsters to chase his tally.

Apart from the incredible record, the India captain also reached his 37th ODI century, only to be placed next to Sachin Tendulkar in the all-time leading century scorers in international cricket. Meanwhile, he also increased his average by remaining unbeaten.

Meanwhile, Mumbai police, in their tweet quoted saying they won’t take any ‘challan’ for Virat Kohli’s speed in scoring runs for team India. The tweet left the cricketing fanatics in splits, as they haven’t expected it from them.

“No over-speeding challan here, just accolades & best wishes for more @imVkohli ! Many congratulations on your amazing feat!,” read a tweet posted on Mumbai Police’s official Twitter handle.

Virat Kohli to lead in remaining ODI games as well:

It was expected that BCCI would hand rest to Virat Kohli to preserve him for the upcoming tour to Australia followed by the 2019 World Cup. However, it wasn’t the case, as team India asked him to lead again.

The BCCI selectors haven’t made any significant changes to the side apart from bringing in Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah by excluding Mohammed Shami.
