India vs Windies 2018: Sachin Tendulkar Congratulates Umesh Yadav on Fine Spell

Former Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Umesh Yadav on a fine spell in the second Test match against Windies. India was able to win the first Test match by an innings and 272 runs and they won the second Test match by ten wickets. Therefore, India was able to convincingly win the series by 2-0. Thus, it was a dominating performance from the Indian team.

Meanwhile, Umesh Yadav was able to scalp 6-88 in the first innings. It was Umesh Yadav second five-wicket haul and first six wickets haul in the red ball version. Furthermore, Umesh Yadav was able to take four wickets in the second innings.

Yadav was able to get the ball to reverse at a good speed. Thus, he was able to breathe down the neck of the visitor’s batsmen. In fact, Yadav was able to scalp his first ten wicket haul in the red ball version.

On the other hand, Shardul Thakur was injured after bowling just ten balls on his Test debut. Thus, the workload of the pace battery was solely left on the shoulders of Umesh Yadav. Moreover, there was no medium pacer in the side.

Meanwhile, it was another dominating performance from the Indian side as they were able to clinch the series by 2-0. In fact, this was India’s tenth consecutive series win on the home soil as they continued their supremacy at home turf.

India was able to tick the right boxes and there were some big positives for the hosts. One of the biggest positives for India was Prithvi Shaw. The way the young lad announced himself on the big stage was commendable.
