India’s former batsman and now commentator Sanjay Manjrekar congratulated Ravindra Jadeja for his maiden Test hundred. Jadeja took 38 Test matches to get his first Test century. Prior to this, Jadeja highest score was 90 runs which he had scored while playing against England in Mohali. Sanjay Manjrekar said Jadeja’s career hasn’t gone the way he would have liked it to be.

However, Manjrekar likes that Jadeja doesn’t have any complaints regarding his career. He always gives his best on the ground and it is palpable with the way he fields. Thus, Jadeja likes to give his 120% in all the three aspects of the game.

Meanwhile, Jadeja is in a good form with both bat as well as the ball. He had scored a fine unbeaten knock of 86 runs in the final Test match at the Oval against England to keep India in the hunt.

Furthermore, Jadeja did a fine job with the ball in the Asia Cup 2018. He had scalped four wickets in the Super Four stage match against Bangladesh.

Thus, it has been a good one last month for Jadeja. He has ticked the right boxes for the Indian team and has delivered consistent performances.

Meanwhile, Jadeja will be expected to do a fine job with the ball as well. India was able to put a gargantuan total of 649 runs. Moreover, Shami was able to strike early as Windies are tottering at 29-3. However, Shami has gone back to the dressing room after a side strain.

Sanjay Manjrekar took to Twitter to share his thought. Manjrekar post read as, “Jadeja’s career in all three formats hasn’t quite panned out the way he would have wished. But he does not whine about it & gives his best wherever he gets a chance. I admire him for that. Congratulations to him on a maiden Test ton.????.
